Duna Alta is the most exposed and well-drained vineyard, located on a hillside with sandy-loam soils. The low water retention capacity requires careful management of water stress and results in controlled vegetative growth. These soil conditions favor grape concentration and a balanced relationship between vegetative growth and yield. Management focuses on preserving soil structure through permanent cover cropping and reduced tillage.

Continue soil moisture monitoring initiated in 2025, extending sensor coverage to the most draining areas to refine seasonal water stress management.
